Bottlebrush Crafts
Official PartnerTucked away at 30 Ferry Street in the heart of Maryborough, the Bottlebrush Craft Centre is a welcoming gallery and creative meeting place where local artists and craft workers come together to showcase their work. Whether you're a seasoned collector, a curious visitor, or someone eager to try something new, this community hub invites you to explore a diverse range of handcrafted pieces made by talented Fraser Coast artisans. The centre serves a dual purpose — part gallery, part creative community space — hosting art and craft groups and offering inspiring workshops and hands-on experiences in a friendly environment. It's the kind of place where you might discover a unique piece to take home or find yourself picking up a new skill alongside local makers. Entry is free of charge, making it an easy and rewarding stop on any Maryborough visit. Combine it with a wander through Queensland's heritage city — birthplace of P.L. Travers, the author who inspired Mary Poppins — and you have the makings of a genuinely memorable cultural afternoon. The Bottlebrush Craft Centre is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 2pm, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. The centre is closed on public holidays. No booking is required to browse the gallery.
