How do you get here? - From Hervey Bay, catch a ferry from River Heads — the crossing to Woongoolba Creek takes around 30 minutes, while the Kingfisher Bay route is approximately 50 minutes. Once on K'gari, a 4WD is essential; head to the eastern beach, turn left and continue to Yidney Rocks, entering through the ramp at the rear of the property. Beach driving is tide-dependent — always check tide times before setting out. Is power and water available? - A generator runs daily from 6am–11pm, keeping apartments powered throughout the day and evening. Guests who require overnight power for CPAP machines can request a dedicated outlet at check-in. Lighting and overhead fans remain on at all times. Fresh water is drawn from an on-site underground spring. What should you bring? - Bed linen, bath mats and tea towels are included. Pack your own bath and beach towels, toiletries, toilet paper, plastic bags, washing powder and all food for your stay.
